CADD Manager- New York City
We are offering an exciting opportunity for CADD Manager in our NYC office. The CADD Manager will be charged with maintaining, providing user support, and overseeing all aspects of the CADD operations.
Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum High school diploma with additional schooling in architecture, computer science, or engineering

Essential Responsibilities and Authorities:
- Manages the CADD department by supervising staff, providing guidance, coordinating work flow and assigning work, and reviewing work.
- Reviews network and systems activity, coordinates with the IT Department on network organization and usage, and assists in the backup and archiving of data
- Performs systems programming based on the particular operating system including obtaining a list of what needs to be changed, programming the system to perform the more efficient operations, sending the updates into the departments, and obtaining feedback and correcting any additional problems with the new program
- Performs user support duties for all H&H offices as necessary, including but not limited to developing a standards manual; coordinating and distributing revisions to the standards, answering internal calls regarding CADD related problems, and troubleshooting and performing or guiding the caller through the proposed solution
- Maintains a library of client CADD standards, interprets client standards and configures H&H CADD systems to conform with client standards, trains users in proper implementation of client standards
- Coordinates CADD systems maintenance including hardware, software and plotters, determining items needed for upgrades, installing required CADD software, and ordering supplies as needed
- Completes CADD training activities including training new employees and trainees, writing and maintaining training documentation, maintaining a CADD Knowledgebase, and presenting Lunch and Learn classes on an ongoing basis
Other Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess strong mathematical knowledge and skill including geometry and trigonometry as well as spatial perception and form perception
- Experience operating, maintaining and troubleshooting large scale engineering plotters
