Structural Engineer – New Haven, CT

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join our team in New Haven, CT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direction and guidance of experienced engineers:

  • Prepare detailed plans for assigned bridge engineering tasks
  • Perform engineering design and analysis calculations pertaining to and in support of detailed plans
  • Perform quantity calculations (quantity take-offs) for contract bid documents
  • Review and verify coordination of design and quantity calculations of plan details
  • Review shop drawings and respond to Requests for Information

Requirements

CAD Manager – NYC

We are offering an exciting opportunity for CAD Manager in our NYC office. The CAD Manager will be charged with maintaining, providing user support, and overseeing all aspects of the CAD operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the CAD department by supervising staff, providing guidance, coordinating work flow and assigning work, and reviewing work

Education & Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree with additional schooling in architecture, computer science, or engineering

  • Seven-ten years of experience, PE License preferred
  • Experience in analysis and design of bridge structures in accordance with Federal and State codes
  • Experience with NYSDOT design standards and current state of practice such as accelerated bridge construction (ABC) and prefabricated bridge elements is preferred
  • Experience in preparation of plans and other contract document
  • Experience with computer drafting and structural analysis models
  • Good verbal and writing and communication skills required
