Charles Gozdziewski Sworn in as Chairman of ACEC NY

H&H is pleased to announce that Principal, Charles Gozdziewski, PE, was sworn in as Chairman of ACEC (American Council of Engineering Companies) New York on June 10, 2015, during the association’s Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon. Charles held the position of Chairman-Elect last year, and will serve as an ACEC National Director after his current term, which began on July 1, is completed.

Charles has been involved with ACEC for most of his career, serving in a variety of roles. He is also a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers and has served as Chairman of the Met Section Structures Group. He is also an active member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, American Welding Society, International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association, American Society for Testing and Materials and the New York Building Congress.

Charles has served as Principal-in-Charge for notable H&H projects including the new Willis Avenue and Third Avenue Swing Bridges, the new 9th Street Vertical Lift Bridge and the new New Croton Dam Arch Bridge. He has also led many large reconstruction projects including the George Washington Bridge, the Marine Parkway Bridge, the Bayonne Bridge, and the Lincoln Tunnel Helix.
