The Amtrak Niantic River Railroad Bridge was awarded Eagle Level Winner/ Mega-Projects – $100-199 Million as part of the National Excellence in Construction Award Gala on March 5th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The project was eligible for the award after winning the Best of Show Award from the Connecticut Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. last year. The National Excellence in Construction Awards are presented by the Associated Builders and Contractors Association and have become the premier competition within the construction industry recognizing outstanding construction projects across the nation.
