Engineering for the Environment.

Hardesty & Hanover has been a pioneering firm since it’s inception over 120 years ago. Continuing that tradition, our firm is on the forefront of the advocacy and development effort for a “Green Bridge” standard.

In 2009, H&H proposed the outline for a green bridge standard at the 2009 International Bridge Conference. We are currently working with the American Society of Civil Engineers, as well as the University of Washington – Greenroads program, to develop and implement such a standard.

Hardesty & Hanover is pioneering a green bridge standard.
