H&H at 2008 International Bridge Conference®

Pittsburgh, PA (June 2-4, 2008) – Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Engineering Society of Western Pennsylvania is once again hosting its renowned International Bridge Conference® showcasing many of the finest and most complex bridge projects in the world. The venue for this year’s conference has moved to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA. The Federal Highway Administration is being recognized during this anniversary year as the featured agency.

Hardesty & Hanover continues to support this prestigious conference. H&H Principal Associate, Keith Griesing, PE will be presenting a paper on the Hamilton Avenue Skewed Bascule Bridge. This project comprised the complex rehabilitation of a Hanover-patented skewed bascule bridge carrying Hamilton Avenue over the Gowanus Canal. The bridge was originally designed by Hardesty & Hanover in 1942.

Hardesty & Hanover will also be exhibiting at the conference. Please visit our booth at Booth #5.
