Steven Mikucki Takes on Leadership Role in Heavy Movable Structures, Inc.
New York, NY (November 20, 2008) – Hardesty & Hanover, LLP is pleased to announce that Steven Mikucki, PE has been appointed as the new Vice President of Heavy Movable Structures, Inc. Heavy Movable Structures, Inc. (HMS) is a not-for-profit technical organization of volunteers focusing on the heavy civil facilities utilized by or for the public benefit, with emphasis on, but not limited to, movable bridges. Steve, who leads Hardesty & Hanover’s Mechanical Engineering Department, has been responsible for the design and inspection of numerous movable bridges, as well as other heavy movable structures, since he joined the firm in 1991. His knowledge and expertise on movable structures will serve as a valuable asset to HMS and its members.
Robert Moses Takes on New Role in Heavy Movable Structures, Inc.
Also receiving a new appointment, Robert Moses, PE, has been elected to serve on HMS’ Board of Directors. Rob has been involved in the inspection, rehabilitation and/or design of over 100 movable bridges, including bascule bridges, vertical lift bridges, swing bridges and other variations. Previously Chairman Emeritus of HMS, Rob continues to support the growth of this technical organization.
