New York, NY (December 17, 2008) – As a nationally influential engineering firm, Hardesty & Hanover is taking an active roll in soliciting Congress and the Obama administration to invest in the nation’s infrastructure. Below is a link to a recent national news clip that features H&H Senior Partner, Andrew Herrmann, P.E. As Chair of the American Society of Civil Engineers’ 2009 Report Card on America's Infrastructure, Mr. Herrmann continues to be the primary face of ASCE’s advocacy campaign.

Mr. Herrmann is a member of the Infrastructure Issue Team, one of ten issue teams assigned by the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress to enact the "Strengthening America's Future Initiative." The Center, a Washington DC think tank, will share the findings of its issue teams with congressional leaders and administration officials throughout the year in off-the-record briefing sessions and publish its final report at the end of the year.

The engineering community and the rest of the nation look forward to ASCE’s success in this endeavor. Their efforts will shine the necessary light on infrastructure investment, and secure the much needed resources to keep America moving safely and smoothly.

The MSNBC video can be found here.
